The handbook takes on important information such as what to bring, medical conditions, and safety requirements.
- In order to participate, guests must:
- Be able to swim and be comfortable in the water,
- Be able to understand and communicate in English,
- Have a moderate level of fitness,
- Be within safety gear size parameters:
- - Height: 150 cm-200 cm (4’11’’ - 6’7’’)
- - Weight: 45-120 kg (99-265 lbs)
Meeting Point
The meeting point is at the Silfra parking lot in Thingvellir National Park - ''Arctic Adventures Silfra Fissure'' in Google Maps. Please be ready in the Silfra car park to meet your guide 15 MINUTES before your tour is due to begin. Guest parking is at “Thingvellir P5”, a few minutes walk from the meeting point. To meet your guide walk 400m along the road until you reach a smaller car park with all the snorkel and dive vehicles, and look for the Arctic Adventures van.
